LAHORE: Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Bilal Siddique Kamyana has said that Lahore Police remains firmly committed to eliminating crimes against women across society.

He expressed these views while chairing a meeting at his office to review progress on under-investigation cases. Kamyana stated that the protection of women, children, and other vulnerable segments of society continues to be a top priority for Lahore Police.

The CCPO directed officials to ensure the timely registration of cases against individuals involved in crimes against women. He emphasized that all investigations must be conducted strictly on merit, with transparency and promptness.

Kamyana said providing timely relief to citizens seeking justice was a key responsibility of the police department. He also stressed the need to further improve coordination with the Prosecution Department to ensure offenders are brought to justice and awarded exemplary punishment.
