
RAWALPINDI: A productive and informative E-Biz Training Session was held for representatives of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) from Rawalpindi District at the Hall of Children Home (Male), Rawalpindi.
The training session focused on enhancing participants’ understanding, capacity and practical skills regarding the E-Biz initiative and its online portal. Participants were briefed on how the portal can facilitate NGOs in carrying out various registration and operational matters digitally.
The session highlighted that NGOs can use the E-Biz portal to register their organisations online, submit applications for amendments and manage other relevant NGO-related processes and operations through a digital platform, helping reduce the need for physical visits and streamline administrative procedures.
Divisional Director Social Welfare Muhammad Shahid Rana highlighted the importance of digitalisation and capacity-building initiatives, encouraging NGO representatives to make effective use of the E-Biz portal and the facilities available through it.
The training provided participants with practical guidance on using the portal and helped improve their understanding of online procedures related to NGO registration, amendments and other operational requirements.
The initiative reflects the Punjab Government’s efforts to promote digital services, simplify procedures and enhance the capacity of NGOs through modern and accessible platforms.
