
MULTAN: Secretary Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Department Punjab, Saira Omer conducted a comprehensive inspection tour of key social welfare institutions in Multan to review institutional performance, ongoing reforms, and service delivery standards.
Her itinerary included thorough visits to the Transitional Home, Children Home, Old Age Home, Drug Rehabilitation Centre, and Sanatzar. During these visits, she inspected the facilities firsthand and interacted directly with both staff and beneficiaries to assess daily operations and immediate needs.
Following her detailed evaluations, Ms. Omer issued necessary instructions aimed at further upgrading infrastructure, tightening operational protocols, and elevating the overall quality of care and rehabilitation services provided to vulnerable segments of the society.
In addition to reviewing institutional mechanisms, she held productive meetings with local philanthropists to explore ways to strengthen public-private collaboration in support of vital social welfare initiatives and community well-being programs.
Concluding her visit, the Secretary acknowledged the work done at the institutions and commended the management and staff for their efforts.
