
LAHORE: A consultative session on the proposed amendments to the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (Registration and Control) Ordinance, 1961 and the Rules, 1962 was held under the chairmanship of Dr. Shahinshah Faisal Azim, Director General, Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Punjab, at the Directorate General, Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Punjab.
The session brought together relevant stakeholders to review and discuss the proposed amendments aimed at strengthening the regulatory framework and improving the registration, governance, and oversight of voluntary social welfare agencies in Punjab.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Shahinshah Faisal Azim emphasized the importance of a modern and transparent legal framework to enhance the effectiveness and accountability of the voluntary social welfare sector. He appreciated the valuable input of stakeholders, noting that their recommendations would help finalize the proposed amendments.
