Over 10 Million Citizens Benefit from e-Khidmat Markaz Services Across Punjab

LAHORE: More than 10 million citizens have benefited from 167 government services offered through 15 e-Khidmat Marakaz across Punjab so far. The milestone was highlighted during a ceremony held at Arfa Tower on Monday.

Officials informed the gathering that e-Khidmat Marakaz have played a key role in improving access to essential public services. According to the shared data, over 1.747 million citizens availed Post Office services, while 1.296 million obtained domicile certificates. Additionally, 1.171 million citizens received learner driving licenses, and 0.938 million benefited from CNIC-related services.

The statistics further revealed that 0.871 million citizens obtained e-stamp papers, 0.189 million acquired child registration certificates, and 0.137 million received regular driving licenses.

e-Khidmat Marakaz provide hundreds of government services under one roof, including character certificates, birth, death, marriage and divorce certificates, domicile, learner and regular driving licenses, vehicle registration, token tax payments, CNIC issuance, Nadra e-Sahulat services, postal services, vehicle ownership transfer, land records (Fard), route permits, e-stamp papers, arms licenses, and several other essential facilities.

Speaking on the occasion, Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) Chairman Faisal Yousaf said that crossing the milestone of serving more than 10 million citizens reflects the Punjab government’s and PITB’s commitment to digital governance. He added that the scope of e-Khidmat Marakaz would be further expanded in the future, with enhanced public service delivery through the use of modern technology.
