Convocation 2025 Held at NUR-FMS School of Health Sciences

LAHORE: NUR-FMS School of Health Sciences celebrated its Convocation 2025 with great enthusiasm, marking an important milestone for graduating students. The ceremony brought together distinguished leaders from the medical and academic community.

Prof. Dr. Nadia Naseem, Pro Vice Chancellor, University of Health Sciences (UHS), graced the event as the Chief Guest. The Guest of Honour was Prof. Dr. Khalid Masood Gondal, Vice Chancellor, Fatima Jinnah Medical University, who commended the institution’s commitment to producing competent healthcare professionals.

Prominent guests including Mrs. Shahima Rehman, Chairperson Fatima Memorial System& Founder Chairperson of NUR Foundation and Maha Rehman, Co-Founder NUR were also present and appreciated the efforts of faculty and students. Prof. Dr. Tayyab Abbas, Principal FMS–School of Health Sciences, highlighted the institution’s vision for advancing medical education and strengthening healthcare standards in Pakistan.

In her address, Mrs. Shahima Rehman, Chairperson FMS congratulated the graduating students on their achievements. She emphasized that true success lies not only in academic excellence but in becoming compassionate, responsible, and empathetic human beings. She encouraged graduates to embrace leadership qualities instilled by the institution, adding that NUR strives to impart the teachings of the Holy Quran and the inspiring thoughts of Allama Iqbal to shape students’ character and vision.

The ceremony was attended by faculty members, academicians, students and their parents. Degrees and medals were awarded to MBBS & BDS graduates, including the Class of 2021, acknowledging their hard work, dedication, and academic excellence.

The event concluded with heartfelt celebrations as graduates stepped forward into their professional journeys with pride and purpose.
